Privacy policy

Siargao Power & Solar ("we") runs this website to let people on Siargao ask us for a quote. This page explains what we collect when you do, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, and whichever of your mobile number, email address and location you choose to give us, along with the service you picked and anything you wrote about the job. Your name and one way to contact you are the only required fields.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The one cookie this site can set is a session cookie, and only for us when we sign in to read enquiries — it is never set for visitors.

What we use it for

To answer your enquiry: to call or email you back, arrange a site visit and send you a quote. That is the only thing your details are used for. We do not send marketing, and we never sell or share your details with anyone else.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Enquiries are stored in a database on our own server. We keep them while we are dealing with your job and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a warranty claim or a follow-up call can be matched to the original work. You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will.

Embedded map

The coverage section embeds a Google Map. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. Nothing you type into the enquiry form is shared with it.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will sort it out — there is no form to fill in.
